Recruiting:
We are always looking for new people in SNK. Problem is, a lot of them turn out to be dipshits. This is why we have a recruiting test period for new recruits. We have a turnover for dipshits though. I don't want fags in my klan. But, if you are interested, here are the exact steps in the process:
STEPS:
1: Play in the server and get known.
2: Register on the forums at WWW.SNK-KLAN.NET.
3: Let a recruiter know in game that you are interested. Current recruiters are Onslaught, ice man and Kikkoman.
4: If accepted as a recruit, you will go through a trial period. You are then allowed to wear the recruit tag, which an admin will SHOW you how to wear. Do not just put an SNK tag on.
5: In no later then 2 weeks, usually less, you will be voted on in the recruiting section of the forums by fellow klan mates. If accepted, you will be advised and your forum name will also be automatically changed with the SNK tag preceding it.
REQUIREMENTS:
1: Must be 18 years or older. Few exceptions are made.
2: Mic is HIGHLY preferred. We are a bullshitting klan in game.
3: Must follow rules AND know them.
4: Mature assholes preferred. If you are a funny fucker, we like that.
5: Be active on the SNK forums. You stand out more, are less likely to be removed from the klan, and more likely to get promoted.
General Knowledge, Miniscule Rules and Things OK to do:
First off, HAVE SOUND. If an admin is telling you to do something via mic, it is not their fault you didn't hear them. Kindly ask them to type it out if you can't hear it. Swearing and Racism remarks are allowed. It's a game, have some fun and fuckin laugh. But again, don't spam it 24/7 and make people leave. That will conflict with the 'Causing Players to Leave' rule. Mic is highly encouraged, as well as smartassism. Makes for fun gameplay. If you can't laugh while playing this game, get the fuck out. Klan members must wear their tag if it is with their assigned name, and vice versa will not wear it if it is not with their recognized name. Don't camp with the bomb for long, or as a ct rescuing hosties. Do the objective if you are able to. Choosing to knife only in the GunGame server is OK. Don't be Gay.
Admin Rules:
Admins will not abuse their power, nor go beyond their power limits. Only the Strike Team may permaban. Admins will not make up their own rules. If a server/map rule is in play, IT MUST BE VOTED ON FIRST. Admins will follow the chain of command. Admins will ask for assistance when needed, especially with cheaters/hackers to get opinions. Admins will not hand out xp/levels or any other favors with their powers to themselves or any players unless approved by Onslaught or ice man. Only the Strike Team can strip SNK members. Admins will use proper discretion with punishments when called for. ADMINS CAUGHT NOT ABIDING BY SAID RULES WILL BE DEALT WITH PRIVATELY, WITH PUNISHMENTS RANGING FROM SUSPENSION TO STRIPPED ADMIN.
Disrespecting SNK and the United States:
First off, with regard to disrespecting the U.S. Yes it has happened, and I whence permabanned a fucker for it. Do not trash my country. I cannot stand this, especially if you are a citizen. I am military, and we fight so you are able to run your fucking mouth. But it doesn't mean you should...or will in my server. DO NOT DISRESPECT SNK IN ANY WAY. If you have a problem with a klan member or admin, so be it. But it is not with the klan in general. Be careful in what you say to the admins and Strike Team. All my guys are great bullshitters and I've chosen down to earth people to represent. Just get to know them a little bit before trying to give them the old 'fuck you, elbow elbow.' They may not know if you are joking or not.
Cheating/Exploiting:
All players suspected of cheating/using game exploits will be banned permanently, without any warning. Perma bans will be posted on the forums at WWW.SNK-KLAN.NET usually, more likely if it is a regular player. Regardless, you may post a rebutle in the appropriate forum on the site. be respectful. Please report any exploits if found.
CURRENT KNOWN EXPLOITS YOU WILL AVOID:
-Spec Glitching for money/XP farming
-Glitching 1337 Camper's ultimate to obtain a weapon while invisible. YOU WILL HAVE NO WEAPON IN YOUR POSSESSION WHILE INVISIBLE, ASIDE FROM A GRENADE.
-Purposely glitching Magneto's ultimate while in spec.
-Using Bahamut's blackhole in spawns so it carries over next round, killing everyone
Causing Players to Leave:
One of the biggest rules of all. If you do things that make people leave the server, anywhere from cheating to just mic spamming, you will be dealt with.
Advertising:
Advertising includes posting anything from an IP address to other server information with the intention of recruting/stealing players. Under the table recruiting, such as adding friends from the server to PM them on Steam with said information, is also frowned upon. The exception to the rule is if another player/friend is inquiring about said information, and is asking for it.
Little Kids:
This server is for a mature audience. It is not meant for little shits. Do not express the fact that you are of an age under 16, as it may result in you being permabanned. If you use the mic and you sound like a little kid, you will be banned. This annoys the shit out of people, especially me.
Team Killing:
TKing in a purposeful manner will get you banned. Friendly fire is off, but there are certain skills with this mod that can allow you to hurt your teamates. Accidents happen, but if it is apparent you are tking for shits and giggles, and the receiving party is not taking it as a joke, you will be banned.
Skywalking:
Sky walking will be defined as being able to walk from one point in the sky, to another point across the map in the sky. Certain races, such as Deadpool, are able to reach places that would otherwise be unaccessible. While that is ok, make sure not to skywalk.
Flooding/Spamming:
Do not flood or spam the server. Simple enough.
KEEP MIC CHATTER TO AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM WHEN THERE ARE ONLY A FEW LEFT ALIVE ON A TEAM. People like to hear.
Ghosting:
Unless it is necessary and called for (use common sense), do not ghost alive players.
Stacking:
Team stacking is defined as joining the obvious winning team when the other side obviously needs help.
